Car accident cause sign post to fall over, 16th May
Never saw the accident but it was several months ago. Having just walked by with my wife who has dementia I had to make sure she didn't trip on the raised tarmac. The Belmont Avenue signpost is leaning against a neighbors fence

Severe road bump, 18th December
There is a major road bump probably cause by a trench dug years ago. It it very distracting and may cause an accident. Small cars will notice it more I suppose.

Recent shale path down to canal, 16th June
Shale path down to canal is very loose, slippery and dangerous. Seems to be uncompleted due to mound of small stones left lying on waste ground and perhaps yet to be placed on top and levelled in to ground. (Should have left it as it was!)

Road surface muddy!, 22nd April
Road surface is muddy, sewage sludge is being dumped in fields on Broom Farm .As the road bends here it is a accident risk. Road should be swept on a regular basis .

When oncoming traffic is coming over the Union Canal bridge it forces Braes downhill traffic into this pothole.

Very rough potholes, 27th February
A number of shallow but very rough potholes have opened up. If someone wasn't aware of these and took the corner at speed it could cause an accident or a tyre blow out. Also, heading up the hill on the left from this corner are two more pot holes right on the wheel line which if someone was trying to avoid would take them into the opposite lane.

Mud, 25th February
Mcaig farms are continually dumping sewage sludge on the site of Heathery Knowe before Black Briggs Farm, this causes the road surface to be continually covered in mud and silt. The grip on the road surface is not good. If this continues an accident may occur. This needs looking into and action taken to sweep the road regularly.

Continues to be mud on road, 20th February
All the road leading up to Heathery knowes is covered in mud ,this is site is being used as a dump for sewage. The road surface has little grip as road continues to be used constantly with heavy vehicles dumping sewage.

Mud on road, 5th February
Mccaig Farms are dumping sewage in this site. The road is covered in mud and is a slippery surface on which an accident is waiting to happen. I would suggest the put on a road sweeper ,when they carry out this process.

Manhole surround braking up major hazard, 24th July
A manhole at the edge of the road has been breaking up for months now. What worries me is the loose material could be sent flying if a vehicle is forced to pass over when a car is parked opposite. I regularly walk the dogs and make sure no vehicle are moving when I pass this manhole
