Drain dropped. Sharp pothole., 23rd November
A second drain has dropped a bit further up from the other report just added. I actually hit this one myself when I had no choice as another car was on the other side. I could hear and feel the hole come right through to my alloys through my tyre. Potential to cause lasting damage to a vehicle.

Extremely large pot hole. Dropped drain, 23rd November
A large drain seems to have dropped leaving a very large hole in the road. If someone hit it it could do severe damage to a car. The hole is so large that someone has had to put a traffic cone in the hole so people avoid it.

Exposed soil pipe, 26th July
Just to the left of this path (heading west from the Wallacestone carpark), in the grass, there is a 600mm diameter plastic manhole which is wide open, with no cover to be seen. At the bottom is clearly a soil pipe (black waste) junction. This is a danger to children and dogs who may walk through the grass and fall in, and presumably it's not good for the sewerage system either.
Apologies for duplicate report; I wasn't able to supply all information in the first one.

Utility covers still not finished off, 17th April
Since the Wallacestone Brae was resurfaced there have been a considerable number of utility covers left with a gap around them i.e. the tarmac has not been completed around them and there is a channel remaining. these are dotted all over the road surface and therefore pose a problem for cyclists and a risk to car tyre sidewalls. Some are complete but the vast majority have been left unfinished...did they get bored?
A sub-surface leak (notified to you about a year or so ago) is still pushing water through the road surface outside Carn Mairc and is now causing the surface to deteriorate. Who knows what it is doing to the road structure beneath.

Drainage Problem, 7th March
Any time there is rain, especially heavy or prolonged water gathers on the up carriageway. Any fast driver will get a surprise as this is not seen until they reach the brow of the hill; this can make them swerve in font of oncoming traffic. I have already experienced this at least once this year.
