FIXMYSTREET IN DD7 6BG
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of DD7 6BG:
Two broken metal safety barriers at junction between road and pedestrian lane., 26th April
Staggered barriers on either side of Millar Street and the lane that runs beyween Carnoustie House Grounds and Terrace Road have broken off - causing safety concerns for young children (and vulnerable adults) who regularly run/cycle along the lane and aren't aware of need to stop to cross road. Difficult for pedestrians and cars to see each other due to narrowness of road/parked cars. Accident waiting to happen. I understand the reason these barriers were erected at multiple points along this path was due to a child being knocked down on the road in the past. Reported via Angus Council website in February 2024 but had no response.
