Dangerous steps and retaining wall in poor condition, 16th July
The public steps run between No 39 & 41 Greystone ave. they are in a dangerous condition with holes in the treads and damage to the nosing. The upper level steps have moved and as a result is the paving and steps have become uneven and pose a trip hazard. The retaining walls have reached the end of their design life and are in a very poor condition, very little is left of the original bricks/ mortar beds as a result of spalling. The fence surrounding the steps in broken and also needs replace. DGC cut the area of grass to the LH of the steps. DGHP are responsible for the tenants safety at No.39 and would like this addressed as a matter of urgency.
