Bridleway obstruction, 22nd March
A gate, with a raised bottom bar, placed across the field edge entrance/exit adjacent to the Barton Street (A18) is making it difficult for horse riders to negotiate. This sometimes results in horse apprehension and consequential difficulties for some riders and more so due to the close proximity of a blind bend on the A18, which is classed as one of the most dangerous roads in England, at this particular location. I would be grateful if the local PROW could investigate this complaint forthwith.
