I reported this several weeks ago under reference FS589337660 and I have subsequently received an email from the council stating the work has been completed. This is not so, the rolls of rubber laminate are still there.

Bad parking stopping refuse collection on a regular basis, 19th March
The silver car in the first photo is (we’re told by NLC refuse collection guys) the reason Peploe Crescent keeps getting missed from collections. A fellow neighbour has been in touch with Ian and Paul King in NLC Refuse Department and I’ve regularly called and spoken to both Laura and Debbie in the same department to report missed collections and to escalate the complaint. The car owner has an off-road drive off Peploe Lane that’s unused. Please could double yellow lines be placed on the corner so no one can park and obstruct the view/prevent future refuse collections!

Partially collapsed BT manhole on pavement, 12th March
It appears that a vehicle may have driven over this BT manhole causing it to sink in the middle causing a trip hazard. In addition, it feeld very unsafe when walked on, as if it will collapse further. I recommend that this be attended to as a matter of urgency.

Long standing rubbish on verge, 22nd February
These rolls of some kind of rubber laminate have lain here for many months. They are an eyesore and appear to have been abandoned.

Driveway blocked, 22nd February

Driveway blocked, 21st February
Vehicle left parked completely blocking our driveway, my wife was 40 mins late to work. She is also on call for the residential home she manages so can sometimes be called out at 2am in the morning

Rubbish in hedgerow, 11th February
There is a considerable amount of rubbish on the verge and in the hedge which I suspect has blown from Palmer Lane during the windy weather and when the council failed to collect the cardboard and plastic last week.

Parking on hatched markings corner of Town Street and Wold Road, 11th February
Since the new houses have been built on this corner it seems that the parking is getting worse and they are constantly using the hatched area right on the bend which cannot be legal. This road is used by all traffic from pedestrians to HGVs and buses. The markings are there for a reason but apparently it is more important to be parked within 10ft of your back door whilst the spaces at the rear of the new houses are always empty!!

Multiple Pot holes in a row 33 Ferry Road, Barrow upon Humber, 11th February
Starting somewhere around 33 Ferry Road, Barrow upon Humber there is a row of multiple potholes that are getting deeper and there is one in particular that is very deep. The road is only small but is busy and with the combination of dark nights and poor weather, it is difficult to see them until it is too late.

Multiple pot holes at the junction of Millfields Way/Barton Lane, 11th February
This has been an ongoing issue, mainly because any previous potholes have been repaired so poorly that as soon as there is a cold snap the water that sits in the holes turns to ice and blows out the holes. It doesn't help that the water from from Ferry Road and Barton Lane all runs down this side of the road and it is eroding the surface quality The whole junction needs resurfacing as another patch up job will not work.

Road sign missing, 11th February
Shortly after entering the 40mph limit approaching the roundabout on the A1077 into Barrow there was a sign on the left giving directions. I reported this some time ago as one of the legs was rotten all the way through and there was a risk of someone getting injured if it fell in the winds. It has since fallen/been knocked down and never replaced.

Parking within 10 meters of a junction., 9th February
A car is repeatedly parking within 10 meters of the Peploe Lane/Barrow Road junction, on Barrow Road. Drivers coming out of Peploe Lane have their view severely obscured by the car as they exit the junction onto Barrow Road. Near missed have happened three times in the last two months.

Illegal parking, 7th December
Under the Highways Act of 1980 this car on the left is parked on the kerb which is illegal and obstruct vehicles arriving and departing from number one. The owner of the car lives at number eight. As you can see there is plenty of parking on the right of the entrance to the close.
