ISSUE: This was discussed at the Neighbourhood Action Team meeting (NAT) on the 10th January and agreed to remain a priority.
ACTION: We are working with partner agencies such as Safer Neighbourhoods and Ongo to identify properties involved in drug dealing or cultivation of Cannabis.
Warrants will be obtained where possible to seek arrest of suspects and seizure of evidence. Tenancy enforcement is being taken by Ongo against their tenants involved in criminal activity.
A joint operation with Merseyside Police (Op Medusa) resulted in 50 arrests in Scunthorpe relating to drug offences during March.

ISSUE: Nuisance and illegal motorcycles is an ongoing priority for the local team. This has been identified through calls for service and observations by officers when on patrol.
ACTION: The Neighbourhood team will be actively seeking information about motorcycles through Humber talking surveys. Information can be passed via My Community Alert of anonymously via crime stoppers. We also welcome calls via the 101 system about nuisance motorcycles.
Our Op Yellowfin motorcycle team will be out in the community on certain days of action to assist with detaining riders of these nuisance bikes. We also make use of our colleagues from the National police air service.

ISSUE: An increase of overnight burglaries in the Crosby and Park ward has been highlighted as a concern by the community. There have been concerns about opportunist thieves trying door handles.
ACTION: The Neighbourhood team have already adjusted some shifts and carried out plain clothes patrols overnight.
We will also be looking at arranging further cycle marking events.
New Humberside Police priorities and concerns for this neighbourhood will be published here once they are announced by Humberside Police through the data.police.uk portal.
