The street light doesn’t work., 8th January
The street light here doesn’t work and hasn’t for months. Of an evening it’s rather dark and scary, especially for my children walking home from school - nor can you see the footpath, which is steep and slippery what with it being York Stone, therefore being able to see your footing would help somewhat from tripping and slipping. Thank you.

A series of potholes, 7th January
There is a series of potholes where the road was dug up for the laying of pipes and then not resurfaced. This means that potholes develop every year, they have previously been repaired but the tarmac loosens and starts to go down the culvets in the kerb blocming the removal of surface whater. The repairs that keep being carried out simply are not sufficient to carry out a repair. The roadside is covered in stone. It is near a Bus Stop, one of four which is busy with coaches and service busses as this road, Darby Road, Burton upon Stather is used bu large goods vehicles and public service vehicles to collect and drop off school children to schools in winterton, Hull and scunthorpe. The public use the bus services and thos in wheel chairs have difficulty in crossing the road, school children running for thge bus trip in the holes. They are a danger and the question is, 'Why can't the holes be repaired to stop the necessaity of this problem arisung on an annual basis?'

Hedge Cutting, 22nd July
On Wednesday morning of this week, the hedge was being cut back with a mechanical device, or was quite savage.
It initially cut the hedge back on the opposite side of the road to Normanby Hall; about 2.5 hours later, when we left Normanby Hall, the hedge which belongs NH was being cut.
Hedges should not be cut between April and September to allow time for birds to nest. Can this please be taken up with the Estate Managers?

2 potholes around 12 -24 inches outside my drive of no 4, 3rd February
These pot holes have been developing over the last few months and now getting quite large. In front of my drive of no4 seems to be the lowest part of our close and when we get heavy rain it seems to gather in front of my drive as the nearest drain is on the other side of the road. Water seems to settle here and soak into the ground underneath making it quite soft so as we go in and out of our drive it is breaking away. I reported this issue to north lincs council early December but have had no update. Any children cycling around our close and not seeing the hole could come off cycle.

As you can see, the pavement is not accessible. Difficult to navigate this mid on foot let alone with a wheelchair or pram. Often large lorries parking near the bend making it extremely dangerous. It will not be long until there is a serious accident on that bend with these lorries. Turf farmers are not clearing up after themselves and making it difficult for local residents.
