Overhanging Holly tree, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 19:36:26 +0100
51.452656 0.151748

The trees overhang the pavement and are dangerous to those with visual difficulties. It is a Holly bush hanging over approx 5ft high and potentially would cause injury to head and eyes. The pavement is narrower at this point due to the bin on the pavement by the bus stop. The fir tree beside it is also overhanging and you have to duck to walk past it.

Continuous flooding in the skate park, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 19:26:17 +0100
51.456524 0.165048

This skate park/BMX track floods regularly when we have heavy rain. There is not adequate drainage. This is a used area regularly as there is not enough free activities for children in the area to use. It obviously cost the council a lot of money to build and it should be fixed so this problem doesn’t keep happening. It will ruin the ground if adequate drainage is not installed. Resulting in it having to be replaced or shut down.

Fly tipped rubbish on pavement at end of Love Lane (near no. 1), 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 13:33:49 +0100
51.446385 0.141021

Was greeted by this sight this morning! Two bags of rubbish were fly tipped here end of last week. This morning the foxes have done their thing and spread the contents all over the pavement. Pavement is covered so you have to walk in the road. Rubbish contains: rotting household food waste, dirty food containers, broken crockery, clothing (among other things, worn/soiled women's underpants), dirty nappies. Fox poo all around/in amongst the rubbish. This is a definite health hazard - as we approached we saw a rat run away from the rubbish and into the hedge opposite. We had to walk in the road to avoid all this, and so will wheelchair users, people with pushchairs, the elderly etc. Please could this be cleared ASAP? Thank you.

Ongoing issue and getting worse, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 13:24:38 +0100
51.459693 0.15307

The flood completely blocking access to my flat or park space for my car after every heavy rain. Pedestrians using main busy road to cross the pavement and vehicles splashing water over people when trying to drive in to park for local shops. Draining out the excess of water didn't help and something need to be done as the rain can not be stopped? My friends visiting couldn't get in with the pram so we had to carry newborn over the flood in rain boots???? Waste from local shops where not collected due to flood and the fact that bins are stored in the alley next to my door entrance. It's been a years of a nightmare every time it's raining. We have witnessed so many dengerous behaviours from pedestrians and drivers trying to avoid the flood. Something needs to be done.

Road collapsing, 28th April

Sun, 28 Apr 2024 00:27:48 +0100
51.465004 0.144963

Over the past few months the road surface has been getting worse and worse. However recently the road has sunk in many places, resulting in large drops in the surface. This is now posing a high risk to damage to not only vehicles but members of the public crossing the road. There are sharp edges of the concrete surface pertruding. With multiple areas of irregular levels due to the sinking.
