Huge pot hole to the side of the road, 20th February
On sunday around 4pm I was driving home from warrington too Northwich when I hit a pot hole. My speed at the time was 30 miles per hour as there was a que off cars. The pot hole completly burst my front passenger side tyre. I had my 5 year old son in the car this could off been alot more dangerous if i was going the max speed of this road. I now have to fork out for a new tyre due to a pot hole that has been marked to be repaired and nothing done about it. Very dangerous.

Damage to vehicle from recently resurfaced road, 11th May
I use Northwich road for my commute to work from Hartford to Warrington. Recently, in the last 2 weeks, the road has been resurfaced and a significant number of stones have been left behind. There is inadequate signage in the area to warn of this. Indeed only a small section of the road contains warning signs advising drivers to slow down. Nevertheless as I did not want to damage my car I slowed down to the required speed of 20mph. Unfortunately due to the volume of traffic and the amount of stones a significant number were disturbed and subsequently impacted my car. The following day (around 5th may) i changed my route to and from work to avoid the area. I used the a49 to get to work and Chester road(between the m6 and Hartford) to get back to Hartford. On the dual carriageway section, without any warning, I came across the same issue. I immediately slowed down; however, again my car suffered a significant number of impacts. All this has left my car with a significant number of stone chips and it is likely that parts of the car will need a respray at considerable expense to myself. This is a new car which had been in good condition beforehand. I am very dissapointed with the method of resurfacing chosen as it appears no consideration was given to the potential damage to vehicles. I have attached 3 photographs showing examples of some of the damage; however, I have many more photographs. I am aware that cheshire west council are responsible for this road surfacing work and will require compensation from thr council in order to restore my vehicle to its previous condition.
Regards,
Andrew Coulson

Running water on road, 8th October
Monday 8th Oct noted running water from a field flowing across the entrance to Fogg's lane. There must be a blocked culvert under this road. This is a busy junction on the route to / from Antrobus golf club. If the problem persists and there is frost then there is severe risk of an accident. Repair work needed.

Street lights not working, 23rd September
The Two street lights in Manley close are not working. I believe one of the lights has been out of action for over Twelve months. Nobody seems interested in repairing these lights and it is extremly frustating trying to get these Lights operating again. The close is very dark at night and might result in accidents to the residents or their visitors.
