FIXMYSTREET IN CW6 9NY
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of CW6 9NY:
A49 Spurstow. CW69TD, 26th April
Cheshire East Highways are due to carry out pothole repairs this coming month, I trust that any drop kerbs that have sunk to property entrances will be replaced. I also understand that a resurfacing programme is in place for 2024. Due to excessive road noise and vibrations caused by exposed aggregate, and uneven road surfaces is a discomfort to domestic properties. I trust that the new programmed surface will be prepared to a receive a smooth asphalt finish, and not an aggregate finish.

All around the 'triange' there is severe damage to the road., 24th April
It is impossible to drive on the correct side of the carriage way without causing damage to vehicles and so drivers need to swerve and maneuver around the multitude of potholes, which run through mutliple layers of the road surface. The issue has been here awhile but recent weather seems to have drastically worsened it

70m west of farm entrance, 23rd April
Multiple potholes have developed yet again. Please can you resurface this stretch of road properly. This is a dangerous issue and now beyond a joke. It seems a total false economy to carry on with these useless temporary fixes. Please do the job correctly, it’ll save the tax payer a fortune in claims and repairs.

A49 Whitchurch Road Spurstow going towards Bunbury Heath before the 30 mile an hour sign, 15th April
This rather large and quite deep pothole has been present for well over a month now. It’s dangerous. This morning I had to stop my vehicle on the A49 to avoid it as I couldn’t cross the line into oncoming traffic. This caused vehicles travelling behind me to slow down rapidly who were travelling at quite a pace. It’s very dangerous for bikes and motorcycles especially in the dark. I managed to get this picture quickly. It’s deeper than shown as it’s now filling with rainwater making it even more dangerous.

At the junction of Wyche Lane and Orchard Close, 15th April
Gully at end of drive of York House, opposite Orchard Close remains blocked at the end of the drive of York House, as is its counterpart across the road toward Vicarage Lane. This was reported under the reference 5299012 and 52377848. The two gullies #790000605'606' and #790000604'605' were last cleared in 2021 and were scheduled to be inspected again in Nov 23. This either did not happen or was ineffective. The flooding is affecting the stability of the kerb to my drive and the block paving behind it. It also creates flooding at a point where there is no footpath and the road narrows to single track with a concomitant and significant hazard to pedestrians
