Both drains are blocked meaning when heavy rains arrive this floods the drive as there is nowhere for the water to go. This has now started causing damage to the drive.

Huge pothole that was reported and closed on the 16th. It is seven inches deep with exposed iron work this has damaged my car severely

Opposte White Cottage on sharp bemd on the B5071, 25th April
Lareg deep pothole right on the bend opposite White Cottage. You would be forced to hit this pothole or oncoming vehicles, if any vehicles are coming the other way. This is an accident waiting to happen and needs to be fixed straight away. This was reported as dangerous under Council ref: 5722841 and nothing has been done.

Massive pothole!!!! i reported this in january nothing has been done this is sooooo dangerous on a blind bend with a tree so no room to avoid especially when there is an increase in milk wagons and hgv's from helers cheese zoom round the corner in the middle of the road there is nowhere to go. i have to drive down this road everyday to get to my home in hatherton and regularly drive in a horsebox and it is an accident waiting to happen. the pot hole has grown since someone else also reported and provided a photo in march. it is now about 9 inches deep and very long

Flooding again due to poor drainage. Flooding occurs every time it rains. It’s not possible to park a car outside my property and the flood is now travelling onto my property. This issue has been reported time and again with no efficient action.

Outside no.s 1, 2 and 3, Manor Place, Bridgemere Lane, Hunsterson, 11th April
The highway drain in this location is chronically non-functional (this is an issue that has been intermittently reported for many years). However it has never been fully investigated although it is believed that distal soak away drainage systems within and outwith the highway infrastructure has failed. The situation has been getting worse over the past 12-18 months creating longer stretches of surface water flooding on the highway on a bend in this narrow lane that has poor visibility on both approaches. The flooding now extends into the resident parking bays and beneath the flooded highway, deep pothole ridges have developed that cannot be seen by approaching drivers. This is also creating a hazard for residents trying to get in and out of their properties on foot or in their cars. Whilst flood signs have been erected, a longer-term solution is required. Dear sirs This road regularly floods, the drains need clearing but instead CELA have just put up a flood warning sign. As it is now I can’t get outside my gates to walk my dogs. Please can you clear the drains as the problem will otherwise continue. Thank you. Kindly confirm your plan of action.

Hall Lane Hankelow near Hankelow Hall Park, 5th April
Road is flooded. No pedestrian access due to the depth of the flood water making the carriageway impassable on foot and a danger to people attempting to pass . Access to the South Cheshire Way is restricted by the flooding as well as ingress to residents homes. This issue has been present for several weeks and has previously been reported. The complaints have been marked as actioned but not addressed. The response is far from satisfactory

Edge of Crewe Road near Oat Eddish farm, 25th March
Surface breaking up leaving a large pothole on south side of road with the deepest section over 10cm deep. Water lies in the bottom as the adjacent gulley is blocked (see photo). Location is SJ 69139 48159. Vehicles avoiding this risk collision with vehicles coming in the opposite direction. Also, hazard to cyclists.

At SJ 68790 49192. Gulley cover collapsing leading to blocked gulley, flooding around it and subsequent damage to road surface. The gulley is by the entrance to a field.

Pothole in line of cyclists route on south side of the road. This is one of many on Crewe Road but was filled with water so depth indeterminate. The whole of Crewe Road needs examination and then repair.

On Crewe Road outside and to the north of the entrance to Dagfiellds., 25th March
The photo was taken from SJ 69097 48074 looking south. Drainage is blocked leading to the puddle in the picture and the surface is also breaking up on the south side of the road as can be seen in the picture. The location is on a bend and leads cars to move into the centre of the road at a risk of collision with cars coming form the London Road direction.

On north side of Crewe Road approaching Hatherton Crossroads (Park Lane), 25th March
This one of many BT covers on this road which are failing. I have put in two photos, one at this location (SJ 68701 47449) and one at SJ 68865 47720 where the same damage has occurred. If not dealt with, these covers will collapse as has occurred ion the past.
