The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of CW3 9DB:
Under Checkley Lane railway bridge, 25th April
Drove tentatively under Checkley Lane railway bridge on Monday 22 April as road deep in water. Heard very loud noise and had clearly hit pothole. Lots of traffic on what is fairly narrow road, including farm traffic, so unable to stop until on a main road where discovered terrible damage to my wheel and tyre which I now have to replace - wheel had completely buckled. Very concerned by this as issue has clearly been reported many times.

Den Lane at Junction with Lower Den Farm, 14th February
This area at the bottom of the slope on Den Lane where Den Lane meets the entrance to lower Den Farm, is riddled with potholes of significant depth and area. The carriageway is also failing to the southern edge where it lies adjacent to the fire gate entrance opposite the access to Lower Den Farm. This area has been reported before (I last reported it 10 days ago: 5531331) and it has deteriorated further in that time.

Den Lane at the entrance to lower Den Farm., 4th February
Despite one recent repair at this location (thank you), the carriageway adjacent to it is also now deteriorating creating a number of small but deep potholes in the central carriageway. In addition, the carriageway has started to sink further down, in towards the field gateway opposite the entrance to Lower Den Farm causing the carriageway to crack and fall away, creating an increasingly deep drop off, due to the now abnormal camber of the road.

Mill Lane CW57NP, 4th February
There are quite a few grids that are blocked on Mill Lane, from the Den Lane end to Beech Tree Farm which has caused severe flooding of the lane when we have had any rain recently. Cheshire East has spent quite a lot of money installing additional drainage over the last 3 years to alleviate the flooding issues that we have had on Mill lane, could someone please come out and take a look before we have another torrential down pour.

Gully is Blocked, 20th December
This area floods under the bridge and has been reported by a lot but not resolved. The gullys need to be emptied and flow checked to ensure the rain water flows away. The gully must be blocked or collapsed somewhere as other gullys near by work fine and do no overflow

Under West Coats Mainline bridge, 19th December
Flooding has been occurring for months and there appears to be run off from the verge above the road. It's not a leak as UU have been out. We have no idea what's happening, but no you have sent a survey guy out to check. This area ices over badly and the road is no longer on the gritting route for Cheshire East or Staffs, but as a major cut through between 2 A roads, a school run, a business comute route used by rat run, but also by Royal Stoke consultants it is important that it is put back onto the gritting route (along with Bridgemere Lane). We would like an urgent response ref the under bridge flooding please as it is damaging residents vehicles. The road is used by cyclists and walkers and is largely impassable when this gets bad.

Blocked Drain Under Bridge, 8th December
CEC can't be bothered clearing these drains and instead close down reports from residents as they have no care for public safety. They're out of control, and complain they have no money to fix things yet happily spend our money on 500 mobile SIM cards that are not in use. I'm going to report this every single week until it gets resolved.

Checkley Lane, Wrinehill-cum-Gresty on approach to and underneath the WCML Railway Bridge., 7th December
I have repeatedly reported this area (as have other residents). Last week operatives pumped standing water from under the bridge but the causative issues have not been addressed. Within two hours the water had returned and freezing temperatures have reinstated the ice concerns. This item must not be closed again until the underlying drainage and gully malfunctions are corrected. To do otherwise is a waste of precious resources and a threat to highway safety.
