This pot hole as been increasing in size over the last 3 months. Its now to the stage when your heading back towards the A523, you have to drive on the wrong side of the road on what is a narrow road to begin with. To make things more complicated the pot hole is just before a bend.

The pot hole as got worse over the last 3 months and two neighbours have had punctures in the last fortnight. Over the last month its definitely expanded in width and length, and makes avoiding on coming traffic difficult as it is located near a slight bend in the road.

Back Lane, 24th April
Single track road - there's a large / deep pot hole on both sides of the single track road . Its not wide enough now for a mini to pass without a wheel going down one side of the road. water fills one side, so you don't really see it till your wheels gone down the hole. This is dangerous - someone has put a cone out but its not making any difference

Bramhall Hill off Back Lane, 22nd April
Driving along Bramhall Hill towards Pexton Road and there are numerous pot holes. I've hit the one shown in my photo on Wednesday 17th April at approx 17:30. It caused a rip in my tyre wall and for my tyre to go flat. This has resulted in needing a new tyre on the passenger front side. It happened between Far Whittles Farm and Bramhall Hill Farm. I'd like to request a claim for the damage to my tyre and the cost of a replacement, which I can provide.

Bramhall Lane, North Rode, 22nd April
This has already been reported by several others but in the absence of any remedial action being taken to date thought it worth re-iterating the following; -This has been a persistent issue for several years -Remedial works completed last year have not worked and appear to have exacerbated the problem -The current flooding has now been constant for a number of weeks and is not reduced by better periods of weather - The flooding is now so severe that smaller vehicle are unable to pass. - There is significant debris from damaged vehicles around and in the flood from the heavily potholed road beneath the water. -There are similar issues on the only other route out from North Rode to the Macclesfield / Gawsworth Road. -Unblocking the drain nearby is unlikely to be a long term solution (this section of road is lower than adjacent fields) and more substantive measures seem to be required (slight raise of road?).

Bramhall Hill off Back Lane, 22nd April
Potholes on Bramhall Hill. I was travelling towards the junction at Pexhall Road and Bramhall Hill where I have hit a pot hole on that road due to moving over slightly so myself and another car could pass. There had been heavy rain on that day and they weren't visible due to the amount of water on the roads.

Road flooded for at least 1 week for this event and water level not lowering. This same spot has flooded to this extent many times already this year after moderate/heavy rainfall. Some efforts have been made to resolve the issue (drainage works carried out) however the problem still persists and has been more prolonged period of flooding recently. In addition, the road beneath the flooding is in poor condition and significant drops/potholes present within and at the edges of the roadway which is causing multiple vehicles to be damaged/stranded at this location on multiple occasions. The alternative route on Bank Lane also has flooding to a similar extent making both roadways impassible for most vehicles.

The start is Pexall Rd CW12 2NT at the junction with Beamhall Hill Lane. Heading towards Shellow Lane, 20th April
The pot holes have been getting worse for the last 3 months. I have attached 3 photographs of pot holes between Pexall Road and the junction Bramhall Hill Lane and Pexall Cottage on Pexall Road. There are more than three pot holes on this stretch of road, but these seem the worst at the moment. If you proceed past Pexall Cottage towards Rode Green Farm CW12 2NU there are more prevalent pot holes on the right handside.

Layby on right hand side between Colleymill Bridge and Church Lane turn, 19th April
General littering noted today (19/04/2024) while travelling between Bosley and Congleton.
I did travel out earlier in the afternoon (approx. 16:00) and noted the vehicle ahead of me (a roofing contractor's van) pull in to the layby (i.e. turned across the oncoming traffic to access the layby) and the actions of the driver would have been difficult to be observed by traffic from either direction from there. I can provide CEC with more details if requested.

15.4.24 Excessive permanent flooding means drivers have to resort to middle of road - dangerous to drivers and vehicles. There was a pile up there recently - 6 cars collided on the ice. If it freezes again, more problems. Recent "repairs" have failed. Please can we have a permanent solution. It has been going on for years. Thanks 15.4.24
