I have worked in hellidon for 2 years and this junction scares me. It goes onto a national speed limit road and you can’t see more than a few meters BOTH left and right when pulling out, you just have to risk it. I have had a few near misses when pulling out.

Dangerous Parking, 16th June
Dangerous parking along Southam Road. We cannot see when coming out of our Cul de Sac and vehicles cannot see us coming when they are travelling towards us leaving the village. Vehicles come in and out the village at super fast speeds which makes it even more dangerous.

Speeding in 30 mile zone, 7th June
I live on the Southam Road and my neighbours and I are very concerned by the lack of notice drivers take of the 30 mph limit. My doorstep is right on this road and there are other who live on te road that are worried about the speeding that occurs by private and company vehicles. Please could we have some form of calming system for the sake of our health and safety? Dawn Gosling

Sharp edged pothole at crossroads, 2nd June
Leaving Hellidon village and after passing the entrance to Hellidon Lakes Hotel the pothole is at the crossroads where the road crosses over onto the road known as the Twistle. The hole is found by turning left at the crossroads towards Charwelton village and is immediately on the left side after turning.

Hedges submerged in litter along A423, 19th September
Recently, the build up of litter in the trees and ditches along the A423 (Coventry Road on the way to Long Itchington from Southam) is absolutely disgraceful. It looks awful in winter and tourists/visitors certainly wouldn't want to see it. The road needs a DEEP CLEAN up of all the litter and I recommend putting some sort of "Take your litter home" signage there. Some areas need cutting down to reach the litter due to overgrown vegetation. This has been building up for quite some time now and something needs to be done.
Back in 2015, according to a Facebook post, the council has said they would do regular clean ups of the road every Monday - however, they have failed to clean it.

Drains blocked and resulting in excessive flooding and water damage, 4th July
Drains and pipe work blocked and causing regular flooding. This water damage is eroding the bank, damaging hedge, driveway and has exposed a gas pipe work.
This has been happening for some time but getting worse and more frequent.
