Noisy loose manhole cover in roadway, 3rd May
Every time a vehicle goes over the cover - which is frequently, on this busy road - it makes a very loud double clang. It makes it unpleasant to be out in the garden & spoils sleep at night: one lies awake, listening for the next bang. It has been like it for several months, but the situation is getting worse as the cover becomes more loose & rocky.

Dangerous parking, 22nd September
Every single day on the school run cars are parked dangerously all the way along the top of recreation road right on the junction. Myself and other residents of the estate have had some close run ins with other cars. One day I fear there will be an accident. Surely as it’s right on a junction can some yellow lines at least be installed towards the end as when driving out you can’t see as people park both sides of the road so when leaving the estate you have to almost blindly drive in the middle of the road and can’t see well when pulling out. It’s getting even worse.

Loose noisy manhole in road near Cygnet Court, Swan Street, 27th August
I reported this issue on Essex Highways back in June and still nothing has been resolved. There is a manhole cover in the road near the Sugar Loaves bus stop, near Cygnet Court, which makes a loud clattering noise every time a vehicle goes over it. This has been like this ever since I moved to Cygnet Court in May of this year. This is resulting in lost sleep and lack of concentration due to working from home. Please can this be rectified soon.

Loose manhole cover in road clattering, 11th August
Has been loose for several months and noise is unacceptable. Also half finished job to replace lost metal Rain grid in footpath at same location.left with plywood cover road cone and broken sack of sand. Been like this for over a year.

Loose manhole cover in road causing unacceptable clattering noise., 18th August
This has been here for several months. Also a replacement of missing metal cover over rain drain in footpath at same location for more than a year, left with a temporary plywood cover and cone and sacks of sand now broken and spread over footpath. ? Job half completed. Noise of loose road manhole is a problem.
