Contractors using pavements for parking and roads for turning, 30th March
Construction builders are using the pavements for parking this can be up to 6 vehicles at a time which is causing a problem for pedestrians not being able to use pavements and drivers as vision to see oncoming traffic is severely affected. Deliveries to the site are also using Pearson close to turn several times a day as well as making the road dirty and blocking the road during their deliveries

One large builders rubble bag of asbestos dumped at side of road. Noticed yesterday (Sunday) 6pm ish.

Run off from local building work blocking drains, 23rd August
Sand and gravel was deposited on to the road after the recent rain. The drains blocked and overflowed into gardens next to the road, Street Farm cul de sac. Water entered the sewerage system and caused raw sewerage to enter the Peb stream, this then heads to a local fishing lake. Anglia water have visited and said that the road and all drains need cleaning to ensure they are not full of the gravel and sand. The grid that is directly on the bridge over the Peb stream is continually blocked. It fills with trash (straw) and gravel and only has a small bore outlet that lets the water flow off the bridge and into the stream. It needs a larger bore pipe that would allow trash to flow through.

Workman Roads signs left behind, 9th January
Essex HighwYs department have left behind their road signs and bollards from repairs back in early December 2017!
Begs the question do they have so much money that they can just leave assets on the roadside?
Maybe they can come back and collect the equipment which is blocking the side path.

The road sign to Pebmarsh is missing so the public miss the turn off to get to the village., 3rd January
The road sign to Pebmarsh on the A134 between Halstead and Catley Cross is missing. The public does not know where to turn off the main road to find the village.
It needs to be replaced.

There are several deep potholes down this road which were marked last year then because they weren't filled in or repaired have been marked again. These marks have now faded and nothing has been done.
