FIXMYSTREET IN CO8 5DW
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of CO8 5DW:
Large dip in road causing deep puddle - about two feet long, 2nd February
Highways created this problem when they resurfaced the road a few years ago. They left a dip/bowl which which is dangerous to cyclists in itself as it is a curved shape. Additionally the dip collects water which makes it more dangerous. Further to these direct risks, the water which stands there is then thrown on to the drive of the adjacent house (3 St Johns Cottages) which becomes extremely icy in the winter creating a high risk of slipping to all pedestrians crossing, trades people entering the drive on foot and any one unsuspecting.
