Signs missing - Reduce Speed Now, 20th February
Both Reduce Speed Now signs are missing on the South West bound carriageway. I would expect these NOT to be replaced if Highways felt the number of incidents on this bend is no longer an issue since the introduction of average speed cameras.

Presumably drains either blocked or drainage not sufficient., 8th February
Roadway and pavement floods regularly. (This seems to have occurred more frequently since we've had the verge and pavement repeatedly dug up following internet cable installations by different companies.) Photos taken approx 4 hours after rain stopped. Flooding is at a junction that is used very frequently by motorists and pedestrians, particularly at the primary school drop-off and pick-up times. Road here has pavement on only one side so there is no option but to walk through the backed up drain water; also inconsiderate motorists splashing school-children and parents as they drive through.

Multiple blocked drains, 2nd November
All the blocked drains along fiddlers lane are causing huge puddles. They’ve been blocked for a number of years, and every time it rains it becomes really difficult to walk along the road, then when it freezes it becomes really dangerous.

Poorly cut hedge rows, 29th October
Badly cut hedge encroaching onto the metalled highway causing deep dangerous potholes on the carriageway opposite the hedge where it encroaches . This badly angled cutting of hedgerows from top to bottom over the past 10 years plus has caused the highway to end up in a dangerous condition. It is the land owners responsibility to cut the hedge back from encroaching onto the highway.

Indiscernible footpath, 28th May
Footpath No. 34 on the Suffolk County Council - Capel St Mary definitive map runs across two fields. Both have been planted with crops and the footpath across them is indiscernible. Also, a hedge has been planted along the track which divides the two fields and across the footpath. Once the hedge grows, this will form a physical barrier across the footpath. This footpath forms a direct link between the two villages of Capel St Mary and East Bergholt.

Visible derestriction sign in road works, 17th February
Pinned location is a guess, i didnt think to get the exact location until later. i was driving to Colchester from Ipswich and came into a 50mph speed limit, I slowed down and then saw a derestriction so sped back up. I then very quickly came across a 40mph speed limit, leading me to think that the derestriction should have been covered.

This blue directional sign has spun around and is failing to direct the traffic onto the correct direction to the dual carriageway when joining the A12 from Hughes Road East Bergholt.
