2 potholes, one 100cmx 20cm and the other 100cmx 60cm on A1124 outside nos 3 and 2 New Cottages, 19th January
These potholes have come about due to a burst water pipe outside No 3 New Cottages flooding the road on this bend. The burst pipe has now been fixed. The current freezing weather has made the holes worse, they first appeared in the freezing conditions week 12th Dec. Because of the bend in the road , it is difficult to see the potholes as you drive through. Consequently when big lorries go over the potholes, the vibration shakes the cottages 1 -4. These cottages are 124 years and I fear structural damage
