This pothole has been here for at least 3 months. It is a danger to vehicles.
More worringly it is a clear danger to people walking. Especially at night.

Deep pothole in middle of road., 5th April
Deep pothole has quickly opened up in centre of Salisbury Avenue, opposite driveway of no. 1a St Runwalds. Large chunks of tarmac and stones have come out of hole, onto the road surface and pavements. Buses and large vehicles are swerving to avoid the deep pothole.

Loose drainhole cover in road, 20th March
The loose drainhole cover is on butt road and causing very loud banging noise every time a car hits it and is getting louder this has been going on for many months as is so loud my neighbours and I are unable to sleep

Loose noisy manhole cover in road, 16th March
The manhole cover outside my house (89) is loose and causes a loud noise when driven over. As this is a main road this noise continues well into the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I can see my neighbours at 87 reported this problem a couple of months ago.

Round inspection / meter? hole in pavement outside 'Office 22', 14th March
Cover has been removed from inspection hole in pavement, this is large enough for someone to break an ankle etc! Near to bus stop, so many pedestrians at risk!

Old van constantly blocking footpath, 12th February
This old van has no MOT and is driven by the company who own it every day. It has tax but it’s a wreck and unsafe to be driving about in. They park it right across the footpath outside our windows every day blocking our view completely and stopping people using the footpath. Please do something about it.

Loose manhole cover in the road, 16th January
A manhole cover in the middle of the road outside 87 butt road is loose and makes a very loud noise everyone a vehicle goes over it. It’s keeping me awake at night. This has happened before and was fixed for a little while. It has been this way now for two to three weeks.

Loose manhole cover outside 87 Butt Road creating noise, 16th January
There is a loose manhole cover on the main road outside my house, which makes a loud clacking sound every time someone drives over it. This is a busy road, with continuous traffic at all hours, so the manhole noise is making it impossible to sleep and could also be dangerous.

5 out of 7 days a week, 14th January
Most people park in the bay to the right of the flats on the flats at 43newtown road. Constantly we have people parking hpwever they overhand the bay considerably impacting on being able to get access to and from the driveway, especially when trying to turn out toward military road. The main issue is a sunday. I feel that the bay needs to be taken back by 2ft away from the entrance to the driveway to stop this.

There are multiple light out the whole length of barrons wood way. I’ve faulted it with city council the military who own the area and it has to go through a company called AMEY I’ve raised it with the local councillors but nothing has been fixed

Multiple street lights not working, 4th January
Multiple street lights are out in this road as its army property it has to be raised with a company called AMEY which I have done many times via local councillors Colchester city council but no one wants to know or do anything it’s near a local schools and us very busy at times and with minimal lighting is a danger to all
