Pavement lower than road - possible fatality, 28th May
On quite a long stretch of road in Weeley Road, Little Clacton the pavement is the same height or actually lower than the road. This means there is no raised kerbside to reduce the impact of a car into a pedestrian. As we also have persistent speeders along this stretch of road too, this could/would lead to a either serious harm or fatality. Please consider raising the pavement as well as new surface both on road and pavement. If you can find a way to slow down speeding traffic too this would be much appreciated by your tax payers too.
