Crater like pothole, 5th January
Large pothole has opened (reopened?) on left side carriageway heading towards Cavendish. It is so dangerous someone has put a traffic cone in it to alert drivers of the danger - however, this now means that cars have to stop and drive around the hole, waiting for approaching cars to pass first.

Two dangerous potholes, 5th January
One pothole in centre of carriageway immediately between the 30mph limits entering Cavendish - this was filled before but has since reappeared.
There is now another, more dangerous pothole in the same place but on the left of the carriageway entering Cavendish which has already caused burst tyres and needs to be fixed urgently.

Large pothole, 23rd December
This pothole has been here for months half the road is missing and last night on the 23rd December 2023 a large vehicle coming the opposite way forced me to go in it causing me to have a blow out on my front passenger side it damaged the rim of my tyre so I’m having to get a brand new wheel. As of how big it’s got I’m surprised it hasn’t been fixed yet.

Serrated road surface, 24th October
The water from the recent storms has left the road surface severely serrated at the junction of Hobbs Lane and the A1092. Vehicles are swerving around it, which is dangerous.

Complete surface erosion, 6th September
Craters, unsafe surface, complete erosion over entirety of the road. Problem has been ongoing for at least a decade with occasional focus on patching which does not resolve the overall degradation. Despite recommendation from CCC Engineer that complete resurfacing was necessary.

Number of vehicles constantly parked opposite junction making it dangerous to pull out of and for traffic to see if the road is clear, often forcing traffic onto the wrong side of the road across the face of the junction as vehicles are trying to pull out.
