At the end of the wooded area there is a large pothole which has been getting increasingly larger over the last sixth month. It's shallow but wide and still has people driving onto the other side of the road to avoid it

Flooding due to blocked drain., 13th September
There is a blocked grid immediately under the 'Welcome to Wirral ' sign. It is full of silt and the hot summer has turned it to concrete and the is no flow whatsoever. During the recent heavy rain the flood quickly extended right across the road to maybe 30mm depth. Traffic use this road at considerable speed and the risk of aqua planing is considerable. Due to the proximity of a blind bend the hazard to traffic is considerable. This was reported in February and apart from the council erecting a warning sign (in one direction only) (now missing) nothing whatsoever has happened. Being right on the boundary between Neston and Wirral it seems that each council is waiting for the other to react.

3foot x2 foot oval area of road -previously fully resurface in 2017 -now totally fallen off., 5th February
This area is on the left side of the carriageway when travelling towards Ness. It cannot be seen in advance as it is just beyond a tight bend and as the road is barely wide enough for 2 vehicles a driver either swerving to avoid the hole or loose control because of it could result in an accident.

Large pothole (2ft long) on northbound carriageway before crossroads with Raby Mere Road, 19th January

Blocked Drain, 2nd October
The drain grid immediately in front of this sign is blocked. When it rains a very large puddle is formed almost crossing the road forcing traffic into the opposite lane. This is dangerous and an accident is likely. This has become very much worse since the recent work on the cable run .
