Pier Head concert debris/rubbish/chewing gum, 8th July

Sat, 08 Jul 2023 11:44:31 +0100

Pier Head space, in front of the Liver Building has been left unclean after a recent concert. Chewing gum, rubbish, stones, metal and plastic debris have been left in this public space. Many trip hazards. Another clean up is required for this space to be in an acceptable and safe condition for the public. Pier Head is a much loved public space. Let's make this space a safe and enjoyable environment for the people of Liverpool and visitors from further afield.

Our flagship public space across the historic Pier Head waterfront is again left covered in hazardous metal, stone and plastic debris following the recent concerts. Liverpool City Council makes many thousands of pounds by closing this public space for commercial events, but seems unable to clean and reinstate it to even a basic standard of safety afterwards.

Pointless traffic lights at bascule bridge, 18th May

Thu, 18 May 2023 11:19:09 +0100
53.421635 -3.000264

Please turn off the car and cyclist traffic lights at the bascule bridge on Regent road./dock road. What is the point in having a set of traffic lights on a cycle path when cyclists don't use them, and simply ride on the bascule bridge path to avoid them? As a result, cars have to wait for the non-existent cyclists to use them or just avoid the lights altogether and go on the path. You are just wasting people who drive time and petrol. What a waste of taxpayers' money.
