How can I get in or out of my driveway I’ve reported to police. Have log nos and to Wirral council nothing is done this close. Is for disabled in stopping them walking on pavement and it’s a CPZ. Yellow line. Will someone have to die before council puts a sign up for people who think it’s ok to park like this. Wirral council needs to put a sign up no parking not just say it’s within the Cpz parking area. And don’t send wardens out., 9th August
Parking stoping me getting out of my drive or in going into Birkenhead town centre. Also parking on pavement stopping disabled people from using the pavement this has been reported lots of times to police log numbers I’ve got. Also to WBC. Lots this is illegal antisocial and obstructing drive ways as the rd is only narrow.

Bridge improvements, flooding in subway, pollution, noise, 28th May
Dear Sir, Madame,
I am writing to request that you consider improvements to a bridge, subway and consider interventions regarding noise and pollution levels in the area due to the M53. The bridge is situated in Noctorum Avenue, Wirral, Merseyside. CH43 9SA.
I foster a 13yr old boy long term who is registered blind. He does have some vision and as he’s getting older, craves a level of independence. He would love to be able to walk to school. Like many other school children and local residents the bridge is vital to gain access to schools, local leisure facilities, family, friends, and Arrowe Park hospital etc.
Sadly due to the current structure of the bridge my son and others with disabilities cannot use it without support. There are no handrails, the steps are very worn and uneven, the steps are all the same colour with no lines to indicate the edge of each step. For my son with a visual impairment no markings means there is no definition between each step.
I would also like to enquire if there is any funding I could apply for to improve the “look” of bridge. It’s such a big landmark in our community and a perfect opportunity to improve the look of our area. My suggestion is to use the bridge to showcase some art. For example works by local artist Paul Curtis or Zap Graffitti. Both previously commissioned by Liverpool and Wirral to improve lots of local buildings across Merseyside.
Along the same route the flooding of the subway between Noctorum and Woodchurch is quite troublesome for those who walk that route. Quite often school children arrive to their schools either side of the motorway school wet due to having to walk through water or have to turn back and walk a much longer route making them late for school.
Finally I am asking if you have any interventions to reduce the noise and pollution caused by the M53 in a residential area. I would like to suggest the planting of trees, bushes along Noctorum Avenue to absorb pollution and act as a barrier to reduce the noise levels.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and I look forward to your response.
Many thanks
