Faded road markings and obstructed sign, 27th July
Hardly any vehicle respect the existing speed limit and this is not helped by the fading road markings and obstructed junction warning sign as per photos. We have had a few near misses whilst going in and out of our drive because drivers do not adhere to the current 30 mile an hour speed limit.

Blocked grids., 25th January
Heading down the hill towards Chester all the drainage grids on the left hand side are blocked with leaves and weeds. This creates a hazard in wet weather as the rain cannot drain away and leaves large stretches of standing water on the carriageway. This is very dangerous on such a high speed, downhill road as you hit the water unexpectedly at speed.

The hedge height on the field side of Gongar Lane is excessive in height, 12th August
The hedge height on the field side of Gongar Lane (parallel to houses 1-43) is excessive in height for the entire length of road. I would estimate it to be at least 6m (18ft) in height. But given that it sits on a bank of land already raised from the road level, it looks even taller.
The hedge is now that overgrown, that it looks like a row of closely packed trees rather than a hedge! It now overhangs where people walk and ride horses, it blocks the lovely views from all of the houses on Gongar Lane, and it makes the road look a mess and unkempt. All of the other hedges at the edges of roads in the area are kept relatively neat and of a reasonable height, so i don't understand why this hedge isn't.

Restricted walkway, 18th August
A section of walkway at the end of Old Coach Road Kelsall is now significantly restricted by a hedge growing over it. Pedestrians and particularly those pushing prams have to walk along the narrow road which is usually partially blocked by parked cars. This is just after a bend in the road which gives drivers little time to react. An accident waiting to happen. The hedge should be cut back to give full walkway access at all times.
