There has been almost continual flooding across the end of Kingdwood Lane for the last couple of months. Nothing seems to have been done to rectify the problem. As vehicles are tending to move to the middle of the road to go through the shallowest point, it is only a matter of time before someone comes round the corner and causes an accident

In the grass area on the A494 between the lay-by and services sign (eastbound) there is a discarded fuel container (small red type). It’s tipped up so unlikely to contain much fuel but given the potential contents it might need checking.

The sign for the Flint junction (before the countdown markers), as well as the countdown markers themselves are overgrown with vegetation and not visible from the road.., 12th August
The sign needs to be repositioned or the obscuring vegetation cut back.

Junction sign for A548 Flint/Chester, westbound on A494 obscured by tall hedge., 5th June
The first junction sign (ie. before the countdown markers) is on the other side of a tall hedge from the road and cannot be seen. Not sure when the hedge was last trimmed down, but either the sign needs to be moved to the roadside, or the hedge needs regular maintenance.

Fencing is about to fall down, 18th March
We live alongside the main carriageway, the fencing erected in front is both falling towards us and the main carriageway. Each time a HGV goes past the fence gets sucked in and leans further each week.

Traffic light phasing, 15th June
The traffic light phasing is too heavily biased to traffic moving from Chester towards Wirral at this junction. This is causing huge tailbacks for traffic travelling from Wirral towards Chester and the M56 / Ellesmere Port. Junction of A540 and A5117 - this is ongoing and has been for the last 2 weeks.

The traffic lights are too heavily biased in favour of traffic moving from the Chester to Wirral direction. This is causing huge delays on the Wirral side of the lights for traffic traveling towards Chester and the M56, 15th June

St Light no: W8 is on during the day. It is the Light on the A540 where the road meets the Slip Road from the A494 from Ellesmere Port. Also St Light no: W1 is also on during the day. The light is close to the BP petrol Station & Starbuck's Coffee.

The lane markings on this roundabout are either very faded or have disappeared completely. It is dangerous as some people treat it like there is only one lane when there is really two.

House in danger of flooding, 20th January
I have not seen flooding like this for 40years i was told there is land drain problems in the field opposite and the ditch has been filled in so there is no where for the water to go .The houses along this bit have no solid floors at the front so the water will enter the houses under the floor boards

Illogical sequencing increasing emissions, 2nd September
At night the traffic lights on the main road are constantly changing to red when there is no traffic waiting to exit from Seahill Road. This causes drivers to first brake and then accelerate away. There is no reason for this sequencing of the traffic lights as the road is already protected by an enforced average 50mph limit. It would be better to leave the lights on Sealand Road on green until a car is waiting to exit Seahill Road in order to reduce emissions from cars, as well as alleviating pointless braking component wear

Branch sticking out, 11th September
Branch is sticking out which is causing damage to buses. Buses will not be able to use this road if not repaired. Cars/lorrys are going on opp side of road which is going to cause a crash

Severe subsidence of road on top of bridge over cycle path when heading into Saughall. This appears to be getting worse every few days and will damage vehicles.
