Uneven drain cover causing house shaking, 6th September
This drain cover doesn't sit flush with the road and hasn't done so since works were carried out some time ago. Our whole house shakes significantly whenever a heavy vehicle drives over it (heading NE towards Tolleshunt D'Arcy). This occurs numerous times per day and night. At night it's significant enough to shake us in our beds and wake us up. Our house isn't even adjacent to the road so the actual "hit" is quite significant. Can something please be done about this as our quality of life is suffering as a result. In addition, who would be responsible for hairline cracks in plaster that are caused by this? We've had to fill plenty in the last year and while this continues to be a nuisance, expect to be doing more. Many thanks.

Uneven road surface causing house vibrations, 6th April
Numerous times each day and night our house is shaken by large multi-axled vehicles hitting this uneven road surface. The house is 20 metres from the road and it's severe enough for items upstairs in the house to move or fall over as a result. The road surface has been uneven since works a couple of years ago and although it looks fine the unevenness causes major disturbance. Away from properties this wouldn't be a problem but we are disturbed by this every day and night. Please give this matter the consideration it warrants tha k you.
