18 inch by 12 inch pothole, 6 inches deep, 18th March
This pothole, having been present since Christmas is getting bigger by the day. it is in such a position that it is encouraging drivers entering Basin Road from Goldhanger Road eastbound to dangerously cut the corner.

Manhole cover surround collapsing, 1st March
The area around the manhole cover has collapsed, there are sharp edges all around, the cover bangs as you drive over it. It's very hard to avoid and will damage vehicles

Drainage issue to footpath is causing water damage to Grade II listed building, 9th January
Information below has been taken from a building survey undertaken;
Externally the front elevation abuts the back of the public footpath. A PPC open drainage channel is provided in this location to accept surface water from the public footpath which falls towards the front elevation of the building. The open drainage channel drains falls towards a road gulley some 500m away, however the section in front of the entrance door is at a visible low point which causes ponding.
Unfortunately given the listed status of the building remedial actions to the building are extremely limited, we would therefore suggest that there is dialogue with the Local Authority Highways Department to explore if there is scope to remedy the ponding experienced to the public footpath.

Goldhanger road from maldon to Tolleshunt D'Arcy., 29th December
Lots of potholes, damage around drains and edges along the road, some been there for a year or so. Very dangerous for bikers and cyclists. And dangerous if trying to miss them with cars coming towards you. Please check the whole length of road it's very bad.

Footpath ridiculously overgrown, 29th August
The footpath between Heybridge Approach and Elizabeth Way play area is now ridiculously overgrown. Council has not been to trim / cut / now any of the trees / bushes / grass in over 6 months now. The footpath section between Heybridge Approach and Samian Close is the worst, with brambles growing so large they are now hanging below head height, it’s like some sort of a game show, trying to dodge the brambles and other low hanging plants. Brambles and stinging nettles are also growing over nearly 50% of the actual footpath on the ground. The grass area next to # 9 and # 18 Samian Close is now around 2 1/2 feet tall, with stinging nettles growing large. It’s attracting animals to defecate in the long grass, which is disgusting.

Zebra crossing completely faded, 26th May
This zebra crossing is now very dangerous. A car almost hit me last week as impossible to see it now. It’s also 500yrds from a busy primary school and is an accident waiting to happen, please can this be repainted asap! Thankyou. S Barber (Wantz road resident).

Loads of pot holes in wantz rd all along this road, 19th April
We live at number 7 wantz rd and we have noticed that there are lots of pot holes all the way up from cross rd to the top of wantz rd were it meets the hi street i and other use a motorbike on this road every day and it not safe . you have sprayed around some holes but not others and they are right next to each other its needs sorting asap before there is an accident the cars are going on the pavement now to avoid them this is not safe and not good please get all pot holes fixed asap

Street light, 13th April
