Dangerous flooding, 13th January

Fri, 13 Jan 2023 17:30:59 +0000
51.834188 0.412162

Big flood for over a week now across most of the road, causing a hazard as the road is narrow here and cars don’t see it in time and either cross onto the other side of the road to avoid or hit the flood at speed blinding oncoming traffic with a sudden wave of water. Grit and debris all over road as a result. Possibly due to a blocked drain?

Rucked up tarmac and tree roots, 13th May

Thu, 13 May 2021 15:57:28 +0100
51.834587 0.4118

I've reported this road from Ford End to Onslow Green for the last 3 years. Finally in the last couple of months repairs were carried out but only those which affect cars/lorries etc. Where motorcycles travel i.e. halfway between the white line and the curb in both directions have been completely ignored. I suspect the road is inspected in a car hence these life threatening dangers are missed. I'm sure that if I carried a pillion passenger on the back of my bike along this road by the time I got to the other end they would have been thrown off. The road is lethal for motorcyclists. Only one item which affected bikes was at the north end of Ford End near King's Farm and that's because it stretched across the whole southbound carriageway so affected cars too. Please please please look at this road, in both directions for tree roots' lumps and rucked tarmac on both sides of the road. Thank you

Dangerous pot hole, 16th November

Sat, 16 Nov 2013 17:37:24 +0000
51.832471 0.36275

This is a very dangerous pothole on the inside of a bend, and opposite a site of long term building works where there are often vehicles parked on the side of the road. This means you almost have no option other than to hit the hole if there is oncoming traffic, and it is deep enough to cause significant wheel and suspension damage.
