Extensive flooding to 60mph road, 9th December
There is a blocked gulley and this has left extensive flooding across a national speed limit road in a dip so it is hidden from traffic until the last minute. Properties either side are at real risk of impact from vehicles entering this flood at speed or being in a collision from traffic in the other direction.

Temp 40mph through roadworks A12 Ingatestone eastbound and westbound, 28th February
40mph signs have been placed through the road works at Ingatestone and Margaretting, A12 Essex on both carriagways eastbound and westbound, there are also average speed cameras in place with signs saying camera not in use. No one is obeying the 40mph signs and for the odd few who are obeying it, its dangerous when lorries and other vehicles are travelling at higher speeds coming close to the rear of your vehicle and then overtaking. Vehicles are travelling double the speed limit if not more knowing the cameras are not working. It needs to be considered to either turn the cameras on or the 40mph signs need removing for safety umtil the cameras are ready to use as it is going to cause an accident.

Since the 40mph restriction the road has become very dangerous. Cars are trying to get in the Left hand lane to turn off for Chelmsford whilst Lorries are going straight on. When every one was going at different speeds natural spaces were created in the traffic, now at the same speed no one can swap lanes safely.
