There is a very deep opening very close to curb in lay-by on A131 at Chatham Green near Springfield. Due to manhole cover completely off exposing a very real danger to public using lay-by.

Large pothole in Leigh's Road near junction with Boreham Road, 23rd December
Approximately metre wide and 15cm deep pothole approximately 30 metres short of the junction with the Boreham Road. It has been there for over a year and is visible on Google Street view. One car, to my knowledge, has already been badly damaged. It is getting progressively larger.

Blocked drains foul smell, 25th August
Anglian water have been out to blocked drains however they’ve said that we need to contact highways. They have said that they don’t cover this road. Could you please advise.
The smell is foul and it’s all over the street, we can smell it in out homes. Even our sinks and toilets smell of the same drainage smell.

Flooding in roundabout, 19th May
Every time it rains the north side of the roundabout floods, affecting the whole of the lane closest to the roundabout. This appears to be due to a fundamental problem with the construction of the roundabout as this has been happening ever since it was rebuilt. Either the slope of the lanes need changing or an additional drain/drains installing.

Deep pothole extending from verge into carriageway, 27th February
The pothole is deep and extends well into the carriageway. The area is unlit so the pothole is impossible to see at night. This has damaged both my wheel and wheel trim
