Blocked drains foul smell, 25th August
Anglian water have been out to blocked drains however they’ve said that we need to contact highways. They have said that they don’t cover this road. Could you please advise.
The smell is foul and it’s all over the street, we can smell it in out homes. Even our sinks and toilets smell of the same drainage smell.

Flooding in roundabout, 19th May
Every time it rains the north side of the roundabout floods, affecting the whole of the lane closest to the roundabout. This appears to be due to a fundamental problem with the construction of the roundabout as this has been happening ever since it was rebuilt. Either the slope of the lanes need changing or an additional drain/drains installing.

Dangerous condition of road surface, 24th April
The road surface either side of the ford on Bury Lane, Great Waltham is treacherous to cyclists as during drier spells the surface becomes very slippery. Last year I was witness to a number of accidents involving cyclists who fell from their bikes, some sustaining serious injury. I believe this has been reported previously however it appears no action has been taken. Today I witnessed a very serious incident where a cyclist had fallen from his bike, an ambulance was called. I must request that at the very least a sign is erected warning of the potential slip hazard before anyone else is injured. Thanking you for your attention in this matter.

Huge potholes along this stretch ..extremely dangerous, 25th February
All along this stretch there are lots of dangerous potholes and I had had 3 new tyres being forced into them by oncoming traffic which is ever increasing due to the road works at the Beaulea roundabouts roadworks...I have reported and been told that this is not a priority...cars go along here at great speed and so do not tell me that there is no priority, It is only a matter of time before there is a serious accident here

Missing nameplate for Main Road, Little Waltham, 18th August
The road nameplate here has been missing from its frame for many years, as though Main Road does not exist. Indeed, Google maps incorrectly has it as a continuation of Blasford Hill. ( I have reported this to them.) Please would you provide a new nameplate for Main Road. Thank you.

Barriers closing the southern section of Scurvy Hall Lane are completely non-functional., 21st November
The bollards at the SW end have always been a problem, with key operated locks that were difficult to operate. Some months ago the middle bollard's foundation was destroyed and the RH bollard was ripped out, both by persons unknown (see photo). The gates at the NE end have been removed some months ago, presumably stolen. Increasingly traffic is using this supposedly closed road, usually entering from the NE end. I reported this by telephone several months ago and requested that new barriers be installed and that a "no through road" sign be installed at the NE end (currently there is no indication to motorists turning off the Essex Regiment Way that this is not a legitimate road). So far no action has been taken.

During term time parents park on the right-hand side of Hatchfields at its junction with South Street. This means that traffic turning into the road has to enter on the wrong side of the road which is dangerous. Could we have some double yellow lines from the junction to a safe distance behind it?, 22nd August
See above.
