Dangerous condition of road surface, 24th April
The road surface either side of the ford on Bury Lane, Great Waltham is treacherous to cyclists as during drier spells the surface becomes very slippery. Last year I was witness to a number of accidents involving cyclists who fell from their bikes, some sustaining serious injury. I believe this has been reported previously however it appears no action has been taken. Today I witnessed a very serious incident where a cyclist had fallen from his bike, an ambulance was called. I must request that at the very least a sign is erected warning of the potential slip hazard before anyone else is injured. Thanking you for your attention in this matter.
