Vehicle seen travelling in the outside lane in the wrong diractionetion, 1st April
I was travelling on the A414 southbound between Widford and the A12, a road I use regularly. On this occasion, I was in the inside lane. As I approached the point shown on the map, I witnessed a vehicle travelling in the outside lane in the wrong direction (towards Widford) It must have come from one of the junctions that join the A414 from the left hand (east) side. Today I went back to see how many of the junctions on this stretch of road have a one way sign directing traffic to turn left when joining the carriageway. There seem to be three but not at the junction highlighted in my picture. This road, although private, seems to link up to a group of houses. Could you please investigate and fit another one-way sign at this location if possible. The traffic was light that day and we were all travelling in the inside lane around 40-50mph after the 40 mph limit ended but this could have been very different on a normal busy day. I did not witness any accident and do not have a dash cam. Could you please look into this - thanks

It is hard to see from the photos but these crumbling pavements are on a bit of a slant. When mobility scooters come round corners they could end up in the road because of these holes.

Unacceptable pot hole which must be fixed straight away, it will cause at best a puncture and damaged wheel, at worst a serious accident, 8th March
Hit this pothole today, at very slow speed thankfully due to amount of traffic, you either go over it and risk damage to the car or try and go round it and cause an accident to oncoming traffic

Flooded pavement, 24th February
Where the dropped kerbs meet the road has been built up so that rain water does not run into the gutter but forms huge puddles on the pavement forcing pedestrians to either walk in the road or onto driveways. This is a well used pavement as pupils use it to get to Baddow High school, plus there's a bus stop on this stretch of pavement. Whoever the workmen were who worked on this pavement summer 2023 have done a bodged job. It is the pavement from Beehive Lane to the Baddow High school entrance in Duffield road on the school side. It's been like this since summer 2023.

A number of Street lights are out, 14th February
A number of street lights are out along WATCHOUSE ROAD CM2 just past Deadman’s Lane. They have been out for weeks long before Xmas. Already been reported but nothings been done. It’s extremely dark along this stretch of road. Very dangerous for pedestrians on the narrow footpath. Accident waiting to happen.
