Extremely dangerous road surface, 7th September
The road is covered in loose gravel and mud from past flooding. I had to ride on the wrong side of the road to avoid the worst surface damage. This is very dangerous [I almost came of my bike due to loss of control caused by the gravel] This short section of road [part of the National Cycling Network] has always been in an extremely poor and dangerous condition.

Trees that are going to fall on road and my house, 22nd February
There are a row of trees that are extremely exposed and look like they are going to fall down in the high winds and onto the main road and house. There is one tree in particular that looks like it’s very top heavy . They need to be maintained / cut back as they will fall on our house and onto our bedrooms if this is not felt with . The issue is more apparent when it’s windy. They run alongside to the great Canfield cricket club

Road Flooded, 1st April
This road is flooded 6 months of the year. The lane in question is part of National Cycle Network No 50. It is simply disgraceful that cyclists are endangered by a total lack of action to rectify this flooding. Putting up "FLOOD" signs is not the answer! This situation has persisted for over 3 years now.

Sunken main hole cover on LHS of road heading towards tamely crossroads, 18th June
There is a sunken or recessed storm drain on the left hand side of the road heading towards takeley crossroads. It is on a corner and as the road is a country road and with on-coming traffic, it is difficult to avoid. If someone hits this hole, they are sure to damage their suspension or wheel or both. Alternatively if you try to avoid the hole, you have to stagger the white line which feasibly will cause an accident if timed when on coming traffic is approaching.
