FIXMYSTREET IN CM22 6TH
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of CM22 6TH:
Cars blocking pavement completely. No one can get passed., 14th April
So many cars parked along Dunmow Road & The Street, Takeley. Prams and wheelchairs cannot fit through. As a wheelchair user I have to cross the road so many times to get down this road as there's so many cars completely blocking the pavement. As there's not many dropped curbs I often have to travel in the road for a considerable distance to get around a car and get safely back on the pavement again. Sometimes I have no option but to turn round and go back home, particularly where there's cars blocking both sides on the pavement or where there's cars blocking one pavement and there's no pavement on the other side. Cars need tickets! Most of them do this consistently and are home owners on that road.

Massive potholes across whole carriageway, 28th January
There have been huge potholes / degradation of the tarmac, across the whole carriageway, for many months. To avoid the worst of these on the south bound side, people often drive on the opposite side of the road and as there is a bend, this is even more dangerous. This damage is immediately opposite a primary school and on a road already blighted and congested with parked cars, lorry deliveries and visitors to shops/car park and it is a bus route.

Overhanging hedgeways and footpaths, 15th January
The bushes from The Street white gates all the way up to opposite side of Russell Francis way is completely overgrown. Bushes whip sticks out that block the pavement. The bus stop footpath at Church View Close is completely unusable and I have to walk my children into the road to get past. The footpath is also overgrown with mud and debry making it only 12 inches wide, this has been cleared before and the footpath is actually 4 feet wide, heavy maintenance due from Autosites CM22 6TU to Chalet.

Overgrown bramples, callopsed tree. Dead animals caught, 15th January
I live along Pincey Brook on the B1256 in Takeley Essex. Due to the recent rain that we have had Pincey Brook was full with fast moving water that filled the inside of the bridge over the B1256. I want to ask that you could arrange for your bank to be cleared, you have an extreme amount of brambles that are now pulling out plants on my side and have completely grown over, you also have fallen trees and between this you are causing Pincey Brook to be blocked. I have unfortunately seen today that their are actually animals that have caught in these brambles and have subsequently died. This is also not good for my young children to see. This is obviously a huge concern to myself as you are risking my property potentially flooding. Could you please contract someone to chop down your side of the bank and tidy it up. I have attached some pictures for your reference. I have also noticed some large cracks underneath the bridge which are concerning.
