A white corsa has been parked since last night in Tower road, Ely, CB7 4XS. Tower road is a narrow road which is the access to Tower court. The vehicle is parked in the road away from the kerb and it is difficult for vehicles to pass without driving up an overgrown verge which is at the fenced off area belonging to Anglian water. The verge is overgrown with shrubbery and this is scratching your vehicles paint work. There are empty parking spaces by the houses in tower road (by the funeral parlour) and plenty of visitors spaces at tower court (tower court has a sign up for private access). I have asked that a photo is put up on local spotted in ely website but it has not been. Delivery vehicles cannot access tower court and it would be difficult for emergency vehicles to do the same because of this inconsiderate parking. This parking of typical of what we experience when there are big events town such as the Christmas fair. This narrow road should have double yellow lines.

180° view obstructed on Witchford x A10 roundabout, dangerous for pedestrian crossings, 7th June
Hedges and multiple trees planted on the Witchford x A10 (52.3918247, 0.2429800) roundabout island obstructs 180° view used for safe pedestrian crossings. No visibility for opposite oncoming traffic. Pedestrians are forced to leave the safety of the crossing, to go onto the road to check for upcoming traffic. Issue has been present for over a year. Very dangerous, especially in the event of speeding cars.

Urgent danger to historic, iconic and legendary oak tree, 24th May
The historic and iconic Hereward Oak, which stands at the edge of a nightingale breeding ground patch of undergrowth, as well as protected reed beds where bitterns nest annually, and marks the start of the Hereward Way, is the tree around which, according to legend, Hereward the Wake's followers gathered in their assaults upon the Norman invaders of the Isle of Ely. It is undeniably ancient, and still serves that purpose to walkers of the surrounding SSSIs. Unaccountably, it has no TPO on it. It is in serious and present danger from Network Rail's proposed works to the Kiln Lane pedestrian and vehicular crossing of the railway track.

No place to park for Disabled, 16th March
This is an ongoing problem for me and many others. People parking in disabled spots with no Blue Badge. This happens all over Ely and as there are no traffic wardens patrolling it's hardly going to be fixed. Most of the time when asking someone if they would move it's nearly always met with abusive language and the usual words "What's it gotta do with you". I was told by East Cambs District Council that they only patrol their car parks and not the streets and was given a number to ring if I saw somebody parked in a disabled bay without displaying a Blue badge.

Blind bend for pedestrians on fast approach, 22nd July
View of oncoming traffic is obscured. After widening of the road the distance to cross the road is too wide for pedestrians and cyclists to see traffic approaching until stepping into the middle of the road. There have been several near misses that I've seen with pedestrians and vehicles not seeing each other.

Abandoned Van, 13th July
This van belongs to a company who operated locally I believe hiring floating bikes and paddle boards on ely River operating from Quayside / Babylon Bridge possibly? The van has been here a long time and access to the land is required behind it as it is private property. I have attempted to email and call them but had no answer.
