The volume of lorries and farm vehicles passing through the village is causing damage to our house., 23rd September
We've lived in our home, 14 Station Road, Haddenham since November 2012. Since living here we have noticed a significant number of new, internal and external cracks appearing in our property. Our house shakes when heavy vehicles pass by. We have had a structural engineer rule our subsidence and anything inherently wrong with the building. It suggests the damage to our home is occurring due to the heavy vehicles. I'm mindful that this is an issue the village has been campaigning on for some time. It does seem unfair that properties on Station Road are being damaged with responsibility for this damaging sitting with the owners. If measures to reduce the number of heavy vehicles coming through the village are not being put in place, is there another solution that can be offered to prevent our home being damaged?

Sunken road repair, 11th February
Opposite number 12 West End there was some repairs carried out to the road, these have sunk and when the HGV vehicles go over this it shakes the house violently, this wakes me up every morning approx.4am and is becoming a concern as the front wall of the bedroom is cracked to the point a draught blows through ! please could you make this a priority under the circumstances. Thank you

Road damage - Cambs CC highways, 22nd December
Granite setts loose at junction of Pear Tree Close with Orchard Way. About four setts have worked loose due to turning traffic and need to be re-fixed with rapid-hardening mortar to prevent them coming out. A few were repaired at the same point last year and these are still fine.

On the A1123, almost opposite the entrance to Church Lane, there is broken manhole cover, which moves makes a noise every time a vehicle passes over it. It is on the westbound side of the road (towards Earith). It has been like this for several weeks.
