Road inadequate, 3rd April
This road is a link between areas of development taking increased traffic. It is single with passing bays. No signage but road is not coping with drops at sides where traffic pass off road. Passing bays have nor been maintained and full of ravines causing drivers to avoid them having to go off road.

All along this road there are huge potholes And road subsiding, 3rd April
These potholes and now drops at edge of road have been reported to Essex CC. Apparently they have been inspected and no action needed but am wondering if the right road has been looked at. The road is single with passing spaces but passing spaces are also full of deep potholes. The edge of road has now become so worn as cars cannot use passing bays that they drop off road into verge. The road needs repairing and widening. The damage to cars continues.

Large pothole on bend, 22nd February
The pothole has increased significantly and covers around.half the road, it is positioned on a sharp bend and not visible until vehicles hit it. Several vehicles have suffered flat tyres.

2 Masive holes almost making road impassable, 3rd February
The whole road from Rickling to Berden is falling apart. The road needs resurfacing including passing bays or and widening. Unless you have a tractor the road is a hazard to driving and cars.

Blocked drains, 1st October
The road drain has so much compacted silt that vegetation is now growing out of it.
In reality, all the drains on Pelham Road, except one, on both sides of the road are similarly blocked.

Several very deep and wide potholes, 3rd July
These have been here for a long time and growing. They are craters but the reporting system on Essex highways does not register the road...this is urgent before a huge accident.

16 blocked roadside manholes and some have been tarmaced over, 10th May
Between Clavering Blacksmiths Corner and Parsonage Farm lane the vast majority of roadside drains are totally full and unable to drain the road. One has even tarmacced over the cast iron grating. This was reported to ECC Councillor ray Gooding on 6th January 2022 and a reminder again on 6th February. Nothing has been done and the emails were never acknowledged.

Signage and potholes and unmaintained passing bays, 11th September
A narrow lane which two cars cannot pass with no warning signage and passing bays in very poor condition, potholes common. The state of this road from Rickling towards Berden is shocking and heavily used. Vehicles driving too fast along a very narrow lane forcing cars off road as no signs nor maintained passing bays...really poor
