The twin metal gates were tied with baling twine in a manner to make it extremely difficult to undo. Adding a simple latch to these gates would easily solve the problem.

Illegal Closure of Public Footpath Gate, 4th September
The metal gate has been locked using a combination padlock. The only way "through" this gate is to climb over it. Any walker with mobility issues would have no option than abandon their walk as there is no other route to access this particular public footpath.

Ridiculously complicated Gate Attachments, 4th September
The public footpath field gate exiting onto Kennmoor Road is secured by two sets of chains and two different clips, both completely unnecessary since the gate possess a perfectly functional bolt. If the farmer is worried that walkers do not use this gate's bolt then there's plenty of wooden fence space adjacent to thus gate to install a a stand alone pedestrian entrance.

Pot hole, 20th December
It is on the edge of the road in a natural passing area on a narrow road. Elderley people of 92 plus walk this area regularly and have to go into the road so they don't trip on this hole. When you hit the pot hole you feel the suspension bang..
