Collapsed concrete road section at drain, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 14:43:38 +0100
51.410687 -2.547638

This collapse has been there for many months. Initially case 5506579 was closed with the problem having been "inspected" and identified as "not being there". Subsequently case 5839291 was opened where I stated that the previous case had been closed without any appropriate action. Case 5839291 itself has now been closed stating that "appropriate action has already been taken" (that action being NO remedial action). The problem still exists after these many months - you may well end up facing claims for damage to car tyres or wheels or very possibly worse for personal injury when a cyclist ends up being thrown off their bicycle when encountering this collapse, particularly when it is not visible due to water flooding that depression.

This pot hole has got progressively larger over the last 6months and you have done nothing about it. It has rapidly increased in size and depth over the last few weeks and is getting larger. Due to its position and with cars parked on both sides of the road on what is an already narrow road it is now near impossible to avoid and is at risk of causing damage to cars and injury to people on peddle bikes and motorbikes.

Edge of the carriageway has eroded and turned into a big pot hole. It is past the golf course on the side of the road travelling from stockwood lane towards stockwood hill., 25th April

Thu, 25 Apr 2024 15:02:19 +0100
51.420143 -2.525583

The edge of the carriageway along stockwood lane between the golf course and stockwood hill has eroded in many place. One place in particular on the side of the road heading towards stockwood hill. It has been gradually getting worse over the last few months and I strongly feel it will either cause damage to people's vehicles or cause an accident soon as people are having to keep themselves from moving over to avoid going into the pothole. Unfortunately I can't take a photo as there isn't ever a safe time to stop and take a photo. I really do feel it's just a matter of time before there is some sort of accident. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. Thank you.
