Temporary lane markings very hard to see, 15th April
Road markings for lanes here are really hard to see (temporary green things, with old painted hatching etc still on road) and people are drifting out of lanes as they use the junction to keep travelling southbound on the M5 (rather than take the exit at a38 Thornbury). Photo for location attached.

Eagle Wood SNP words off sign are on the ground, 7th April
Right hand snp usually partially obscured by hedge, but left-hand snp wording completely off, and on the ground as in 3rd image. Both imho needed to see where location from both directions along Woodlands lane.

Possible short cycling/detection fault, 5th April
Hello, Coming off the M5 SB at J16 to Bradley Stoke, I am wondering if the detection system is operating correctly? For a few days now the intergreen for the stage exiting the motorway has been definitely longer than my usual experience. The stage time is about 10 seconds. Which to me suggests a detection fault.
The reason I say that is because a few days ago South Glos responded to an identical problem at Aztec West (the neighbouring roundabout) and found rodents had disabled the detection system. Thought it might be worth a check.

Car's in the right lane sometimes unexpectedly go straight, 4th April
The road Gloucester Rd converges into Hayes way. Gloucester Rd has one lane going right and one left. However, many of the locals use the right lane to also go left but to the righter lane. I have linked two pictures one representing location and another showing what happens at the intersection. At the intersection the green line represents currently correct path cars should take. The orange line represents what happens in practice when some users either don't see the signs or more often then not are locals that would rather skip traffic since left lane is generally the one that is much more busy. This issue has been present for over two years and has generally gotten worst as more people moved into the area. I think if the right lane would also be allowed to drive both right (as it currently allows) and left (so that it can follow the orange line in the picture of intersection) then it would eliminate the surprise factor that drivers in left lane experience when drivers in right lane take orange path even now when it is not allowed by law.

Sunken drain/utility cover just after roundabout., 2nd April
The Drain or Utility cover has sunken about 6-8 inches, a very dangerous spot especially for cyclists and motorbikes, it’s been like this for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Road lines are barely visible, 1st April
The road markings need to be repainted as they have worn off and it is a dangerous drive when drivers don’t know what lane to be in. Constantly being cut up by people in the wrong lanes

Electronic sign over 1st lane, 28th March
As you head along the M5/M4 managed motorway towards the slip road to the M32 to Bristol. the managed motorway has had for 2 days a cross/closed symbol on the electronic sign on the 1st lane/hard shoulder lane and there has absolutely been no obstruction or issue at all. The road works are complete and all the cones etc gone but the cross on the electronic sign appears to be incorrectly on. This is causing a whole lane to be empty and creating a lot of gridlock traffic for no reason.

Overgrown trees and bushes blocking pavements and going into road, 21st March
Apologies as I do not think the photo's show the full extent of the problem. There are a few trees which are branching out into the road to the extent that they may hit vehicles (particularly large ones). One of these is also on a blind corner. There are also overgrown trees/hedge/brambles blocking use of the pavement. In places there is a good 3ft of pavement blocked and when cars park on the pavement as well (avoiding the trees?) it is not possible to use the pavement at all and you have to walk in the road. Not good if you have little ones / prams etc

Void has opened up in pavement near the sewers, 21st March
This is close to no. 50 directly above the drains in the road. Not sure how long it has been there but it is a couple of months at least and I can see moss on the inside. I think the hole may also be growing. Quite a few dog walkers in the area so some concerns about injury to dogs and/or people if it keeps growing!

Unavoidable large pothole in roadworks, 21st March
Large, deep pothole across entire filtered lane in the roadworks towards Filton. It is unavoidable as it is in the roadworks so there is no other lane to move in too. It is at least 8cm deep and been there for weeks! My car has taken a significant battering from this every morning which has resulted in a puncture. Needs repairing immediately.

Cars parking on double yellow lines obscuring view to 40mph main car park exit, 19th March
Cars parking here are obscuring the view for cars exiting a main car park for 100s of cars on an already dog legged view of a 40 mph road. Not enough time breaking distance to react if a car pulls out due to no visibility. Accidents have occurred here previously due to this reason.
