Abandoned road works, 30th January
These road works have been here for about 9months. There is a hole which no-one has done anything about. The roadworks themselves are a hazard for people turning down the road. I have already reported this once. The fence was moved in about a foot but the hole is still there.

No traffic lights on a 4 way roadworks, 15th January
The West End road which leads onto the B3139 has no lights. The other 3 ways do, so you have to use your best judgement to enter the road. When I used this road on 12th January 2024 around 5 pm, there was a parked van obscuring the traffic coming from the oncoming lights direction so I made a judgement to pull out. Then a car drove around the van. I stopped, leaving room for the car to get through and the driver behind drove into my rear. I now have to go though the hassle of insurances and getting my car fixed. This should be a 4 way traffic light system, a lot of people use this road as it is a short cut around the village of Wedmore.

Cocklake's Pothole Parade, 18th January
Hazardous road surface - unavoidable potholes pose serious health and safety risk to road users. The one pictured exceeds 25m in length by over 0.6m wide and is up to 150mm deep - more than enough to cause major damage to cars and cyclists (many of whom use this road). Recent erosion due to weather and traffic flows mean that the risk is increasing rapidly.
