Significant reoccurring flooding on road and pavement, 1st April
The road and pavement outside circa 560-564 Portway is completely flooded. The situation reoccurs any time it rains and even a small amount of rain seems enough to cause a flood. It persists for several days and does not drain or dry up. There is an excessive amount of mud washed in to the road which might be the cause of the issue, possibly from the grass verge. The pavement is impassable and is dangerous as there is no safe place to cross to the other side. I am concerned when crossing the road with my toddler, as drivers already do not stick to the 30mph speed limit on this stretch of road (I have raised this elsewhere); nor to they slow down to avoid the flood. This is not a new issue, the flood has been reoccurring for several months and needs rectifying before there is a potentially serious accident.
