Overgrown hedges blocking pavement, 30th April

Tue, 30 Apr 2024 21:17:06 +0100
51.469463 -2.52153

The hedges along Argyle Road and Charlton Road need to be cut - the issue has been present since last summer. The pavement is completely obstructed in many places forcing pedestrians into the road - this is incredibly dangerous as many drivers completely ignore the 20mph speed limit and zoom down the road.

Previously reported numerous potholes on this stretch of road and I saw three people inspecting and drawing white marks around some a few weeks ago, but the road surface continues to be awful here and it causes drivers to swerve into the middle of the road to avoid them. Large potholes cover this stretch of road and have become worse over the last few months. Following a previous report, it looks like someone has been to inspect and a white circle has appeared around one pothole but multiple potholes are nearby. It causes drivers to steer all over the road to avoid them, which is particularly dangerous on a narrow road with a sheer drop on one side
