Japanese Knot weed, 28th April

51.44385 -2.582096

Japanese Knot weed is starting to grow onto our property from the over grown path adjacent to our flat, 44a Richmond street. As it grows at a rate of 20cm a day and is highly invasive this is a major concern to us especially due to the recent windy weather seeds may travel and invade over properties and areas. We have noticed it in the last 24hours, but is growing substantially.

Entire road may as well be a pothole given how poor the surface is, 27th April

Sat, 27 Apr 2024 23:24:00 +0100
51.438233 -2.606737

Entire surface is loose and already cracking in places. Has embedded only where tyres go, A 9 year old could have pointed out to the council when they laid it that this would happen, as that tends to be how the concept of downward pressure works. It's a terraced street, which means with parking on both sides, the vast vast majority (85%+) of the road doesn't get driven on routinely. It won't ever bed in, because it can't bed in. Which is why the same type of surfacing hasn't been used for any of the adjacent roads. Chippings are damaging car paintwork, get trodden into everything, and the drainage of the entire road is a mess as a result.
