Blocked ditch and drain not working, 30th October
The ditch from Norlington Lane to Ham Lane is blocked over a long section (about 10m shown on picture) meaning the water ponding at the corner (as shown on picture) cannot drain away. I also believe but am not certain that there is a drain under the road going from the corner (shown on the other picture) down Norlington Lane away from Ham lane that is not functioning correctly but I cannot get confirmation of this. Perhaps this request can lead to the drains in this area being checked.

The white wooden railings are broken, 19th September
The white wooden railings on both sides of the lane are broken and falling apart. It looks as though a tree may have fallen on them causing the damage but they are pretty useless now for preventing people, young children and bicycles from toppling in to the ditch and stream. Please replace.

Major pothole across the drive of Longacre, 25th March
This long pothole, made up of several that have joined together is making access difficult. The drains along this part of Ham Lane collapsed years ago and the resulting water that cascades down the road every time it rains is causing untold damage to the edges of the road resulting in the appalling potholes which are periodically patched but disintegrate as soon as there is more rain, making the situation worse. This has been a problem for some years now despite repeated patching of the road as the main problem is the collapsed drains.

Dangerous barbed wire loop in the grass at the broken stile, 13th February
I reported that there is a length of barbed wire partly covered with grass about twelve months ago. Nothing has been done. The wooden stile structure still lies on the ground and the barbed wire loop remains ready to trip up unwary walkers who catch their boots in it.
Given that The Monday Group have been very active on nearby routes it is most surprising that this dangerous trip hazard has been allowed to remain for so long. To my eyes it simply needs to be taken away because there are no hedges or walls to be climbed.

Large gap between road and verge, 11th January
There is are large gap on the side of the road which has been made deeper by lorries and now has potholes have appeared which can damage the rim of a cars tyre, and for some reason when you resurfaced the road at this point you seem to make the road narrower which just causes cars come off the road and make this gap deeper and wider. So if you’re a car with low profile tyres you Will damage the rims and give yourself a puncture,
