Deep flooded stretch of National Cycle Network Route 20, 29th March
Deep flooding and overspill debris from field/land and blocked ditch to the West. Water is circa 250mm deep and has remained all through winter, not clearing to any degree during dry days and stagnating. Dangerous and a hazard to health trying to cycle through unseen stones, slime and stagnant water. There is no viable alternative route other than climbing a bank and walking the main A27 dual carriageway (with no footpath). Photos can be provided. Please advise if NH are not responsible for maintainng National Cycle Network routes running alongside main A roads

Sunken roadway, 24th February
Located on the northbound A273 near the junction with B2112 at Clayton Hill, Hassocks. There is a very large sunken and uneven dip in the road surface that is more than six inches in depth. It spans approximately 2 metres wide and extends approximately 1 metre. Then issue has been present for more than a year, which has had previously suffered with pot hole repairs. This issue is also dangerous to motorists as it could result in an accident in trying to avoid the problem into the path of oncoming traffic. Please consider a proper repair to the road sub base materials, thank you.

Deep and dangerous pothol, 18th February
I see I am not the first to report this, weeks later I have now likely damaged my car! You WILL get the bill if so, and when somebody (bike rider etc.) gets killed I will be happy to remind the authorities of these reports being made and ignored. Fix your road!

Dangerous uneven road, pot hole, 4th February
On my motorcycle doing the speed limit of 50mph down this road, difficult to spot and I “took off”, managed to save the landing. Sort this out, it’s getting dangerous particularly as this is a popular route for riding schools joining the A23.
